VIRTUAL KEYNOTE SPEAKER. WRITER. ACTRESS.
Executive Coach. Learning Designer. Consultant. Facilitator. Blogger. Producer. Playwright. Dramaturge. Wife. Friend. And a lover of Haagen Dazs coffee ice cream.

“I love what I do!”

PASSION
Since I was a kid I’ve been fascinated by people and the human condition.
I’d lie awake at night wondering: Why do people think and behave the way they do?
As an actress I get to explore that question in the rehearsal hall and put the answer on the stage.
As a virtual speaker, virtual teacher and a virtual coach I get to help YOU figure out the answer and then YOU get to take that knowledge into your boardrooms, behind your lecterns and in your virtual presentations.
FROM THE WORLD OF PERFORMING ARTS
you can learn how to:
Craft a compelling script (PowerPoint) that captures the head, heart and guts of your virtual audience
Handle tough Q&A – in other words, improvise!
Increase your executive presence. Implement techniques actors use to have great virtual presence
Overcome stage fright and performance anxiety
Pitch your ideas to your boss and clients – in other words, ‘audition’ and win
Improve your Lean Six Sigma methodology by adding creativity to the process
Figure out how to better market your products and services to your customers by ‘casting’ yourself in the part
Understand human behavior (your boss or client) by analyzing a character
BUSINESS
I believe that Communication, Performance, Presence and Leadership are intrinsically linked—and learnable.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
I’m a life long learner and enjoy variety in my work.
After receiving a BA in Speech from Wayne State University, and a MFA from York University, I studied to be a Career and then an Executive Coach.
I’ve received certification in the Myers-Briggs-Type-indicator, completed the YWCA Life Skills Coaching course and am a Master Facilitator: Ariel. I’m also a proud member of the National Speakers Association, Actors’ Equity Association and the Screen Actors Guild.
FACILITATION
In the 90’s I ran a program for the Canadian Federal Government for three years called: The Job Finding Club.
After that, I became part of a four-member team at A.T. Kearney that taught North American and European Management Consultants how to influence and persuade more effectively. This became the longest running course in the company’s history, and consistently received the highest evaluation scores of any workshop they offered.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
In 2000 I joined a start-up consultancy in Toronto, Canada called: e-roleplay as VP, Learning. We began with a huge client contract from The Royal Bank of Canada for 3,000 learners and had no employees!
When I left to move to New York in 2006 I’d hired, trained and coached a staff of 200, created infrastructure, developed new accounts and grew the firm 20x to over $5M.
TODAY
Since then, I’ve spoken at hundreds of leadership conferences, coached C-Suite executives and have designed dozens of communication and leadership development workshops for clients.
When the pandemic hit in March of 2020 clients asked me to pivot my offerings to the virtual world because their employees were now working—and learning from home. As a lifelong learner myself I took up the challenge and am now a Certified Virtual Speaker and Presenter.
My most rewarding work is with people who are eager to learn—and who challenge me to be my best. I’ve been lucky to partner with some smart, savvy folks:
