Recommendations for Workshops

Think of the training room like a rehearsal studio. There should be enough room to move around as a group so that participants can fully immerse themselves in the experience. (Hint: a room with a large boardroom table in the middle is not ideal.)

Learning is not an event it’s an ongoing part of work (and life). Integration of concepts happens over time. To activate this principle, participants are sent a welcome package one week before the course. The package introduces core concepts and includes some reading.
A powerful way to reinforce the learning is to offer post-course coaching. Typically participants crave individual, private support after discovering techniques from one of the programs. Coaching session(s) to help ‘cement’ the learning.

Options:

  • A single 60 – 90 minute session to answer an individual’s question, and/or problem solve for a specific situation.
  • Session can be delivered in person or virtually
  • Many clients will book a day of coaching and schedule sessions for up to 5 people during that day.

    Coaching Topics have included:

    • Upcoming high stakes presentation. Messaging and delivery
    • Board or Investor meeting preparation
    • Preparing for Q&A after a high stakes presentation
    • Job interview preparation
    • Pitch practice for a team
    • Extended work on Executive Presence
    • Handling Difficult conversations
    • Managing stage fright
    • Sales conversation: overcome sales objections with more ease and confidence
    • Preparing for difficult conversations with clients and/or employees
